Cookson First Aid now offers online training to enhance your learning, whilst providing the flexibility to complete your training in your own time and at your own pace.

We offer three blended learning options, which enable you to complete part of your qualification online.

Blended Emergency First Aid at Work

2 hours online learning and 4 hours practical training

6 hours online learning and 6 hours (1 day) practical training

All prices include registration and access to the online training portal, practical first aid training, your certification and a learning manual.

Online training must be completed before your practical training course. Participants will need to provide a certificate of completion for their online training to be able to complete the in-person course.

It is the participants responsibility to complete the training in advance, no refunds will be offered for non-completion of the online training.

Standalone online training

To further build on your skills and knowledge, we also provide standalone e-learning courses that can be completed without having to complete any in-person training.

Online Annual First Aid Refresher course

Recommended for use annually to refresh skills after completing accredited first aid training (1-2 hours).

This training is equivalent to 1 CPD Point.

Online First Aid for Parents and Carers

How to deal with minor to major first aid and managing common conditions and illnesses for babies and children (1-2 hours).

Online Level 2 Food Safety

Designed for all workers who handle, prepare or serve food. By law all food handlers must understand the principles taught on this course (3 – 4 hours).

This training is equivalent to 4 CPD Points.

Online CPR/AED and Medical Emergencies for Dental Professionals

This course is for clinical staff within a dental setting to refresh knowledge of Basic Life Saving (BLS) and medical emergencies (2 hours).

This training is equivalent to 4 CPD Points.

Online Infection Control in Childhood Settings

Staff and others working with children, understanding how infections spread and measure to take to prevent spread of infection (2-3 hours).

This training is equivalent to 3 CPD Points.

Online Safeguarding and Child Protection for Early Years (Level 2)

This course is aimed at childcare practitioners working in the Early Years setting including childminders and those working withing the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework (6 hours).

This training is equivalent to 6 CPD Points.

Online Chaperoning in Primary Care

Aimed at non clinical staff who be asked or expected to chaperone within a Primary care setting, such as reception or administrative staff (1 hour).

Online Fire Safety for Early Years

Aimed at everyone working within early years settings and developed in line with Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework (1-2 hours).

This training is equivalent to 2 CPD Points.

Online Basic Life Saving Annual Refresher for Primary Care (Clinical Staff)

This course is for clinical staff in primary care settings to refresh knowledge of Basic Life Support and medical emergencies in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) guidelines (1-2 hours).

This training is equivalent to 2 CPD Points.

Online Fire Marshall Training

This course is for anyone with a responsibility for fire safety and/or designated fire marshals in line with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (2-3 hours).
