Cookson First Aid has trained 10,000 people to save lives
On World First Aid Day 2024, we are so proud to announce that we have now trained over 10,000 people to save a life.
Across communities, schools and businesses, there are now 10,000 new life savers, funded by Oliver Cookson Foundation.
We have trained all ages, races, and abilities to learn first aid and save a life. We have worked with British Heart Foundation and Resuscitation Council UK to increase access to defibrillators and CPR training.
We have worked with Princes Trust, Mustard Tree, Salford University, Manchester Business School, Wythenshawe Forum, Manchester City Council and so many wonderful schools, community organisations and charities to train them to save a life, and to protect themselves in an emergency.
We launched a brand new mental health first aid awareness course, training over 300 people so far, as we know sometimes saving a life starts with a conversation.
Thank you to everyone who has learned first aid with us. If you want to join our mission to save lives, contact us hello@cooksonfirstaid.org
