Mental health awareness courses
Our mission is to save lives; we know that sometimes that starts with a conversation. Cookson First Aid Mental Health Awareness Course aims to promote positive mental health for everyone.
What is mental health?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well being; everyone has mental health. Mental health conditions can involve changes to people’s thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationships with others.
1 in 6 adults in the UK experience common mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression
Our Mental Health Awareness Course is free for community groups, charities and we run regular sessions that are open to all.
